I originally started North Star Genesis as just an idea back In Aug 2006 and thus, is when I had first began to work on my book. Originally the name was going to be used as the working title of my novel. However I later decided, that it was really necessary to change it as my story was beginning to develop, into a complicated, darker and much more character driven book. Around that time I had still been working freelance in web design. Then later I went on to study in IT and digital media. However these days I am primarily focused with my Writing, Graphics and Film Making, so hence this is how the name NSG Productions that would now become my official website and logo was born.

Being a long time comic book geek and science fiction fan, I’d always wanted to concentrate on and develop some of my own ideas. While at the same time, hoping to further my skills as a Writer and Digital Artist. Even from an early age I had always enjoyed bringing my characters to life. Whether it was through my sketches or now more recently, with my digital art and film making.
When it comes to my writing and artwork, my inspiration has always came from the areas of sci-fi and fantasy. Having grown up admiring the works of authors such as, Frank Herbert and Arthur C. Clarke. Not to mention a heavy influence over the years by such talented artists as Tom Fleming, Boris Vallejo and Hajime Sorayama. I began to steadily grow a strong interest in Science Fiction and Fantasy. For I believe these are the only types of genre, which allow me the freedom to explore my imagination without any bounds or limitation.
It was mainly through some personal turmoil and life experiences that I began to use as a way to craft my character ideas growing up. You might say, it was my own way of escaping reality. However in doing so, it has enabled me with a unique gift for creating imaginative worlds and making them real. Last year I was given the opportunity to use some of my creativity in a short film. Where I was able to both write and direct a title sequence, which I simply called “Epsilon Rising“. This was made as part of my media studies assessment. It was a great learning experience and has inspired me to explore this field in the future. Currently, I’m still continuing work on my original science fiction / fantasy novel entitled: “Revelation of One“, am also working another new film script idea. Which I have tentatively entitled “Divinity“.
I am also available for commission work, for banners, book covers, photo manipulation and poster designs. If you have a concept for something you would like to see created, then please feel free to contact me for a quote and time line.
