Desktop Wallpapers

Well here is a small selection of desktop wallpapers I recently made to add to the collection. The first one being a photo manipulation I made of Angry Aussie for his Blog TV Channel, incidentally if you havent seen his channel yet then I highly recommend that you do. It’s very entertaining. The second image being that of Pamela Anderson as the Invisible Woman, after having watched Superhero movie and enjoying it. I thought that it might be fun to make a wallpaper based on her character..

The last two are designs are larger versions of the mock comic book covers which I made, the first being my digital interpretation of Supergirl in 3D and last but certainly not least. A matte painting version of my good myspace friend Barocca as one of my original comic book characters.

Comic Book Art

This is a selection of comic book covers which I designed just for fun, some you may have seen before but I have included them here as they are part of the collection. Although it also shows you my level of artistic progression, from my really early 3D Designs to the more recent 3D and Digital Photo Paintings.

The top three being the older of the five, shows you just how far I have come when compared to the bottom two. In terms of both visual design, expression and quality of image. The latter being my most recent “The Last Daughter of Krypton” and my original character design “Lealla The Leopard Huntress” both of which can also be seen here in much larger format.

Chip Hunter Photos

These were taken during our Corn Chip Hunter video shoot. Here you can see my friends Scott and his wife Amanda, as well as myself setting up to shoot the video while trying not to laugh! Needless to say, much fun and silliness ensued during the making of this video!

My Digital Art

A selection of four of my personal digital art images that I recently created, the first two are 3D visual interpretations of the characters from my novel Revelation of One, the other two are examples of where I got a chance to exercise some digital matte painting and photo manipulation skills. The third image being one of my original comic book characters Ultra Vixen, using Barocca as the model. The last and certainly not least, a design I did for my awesome metal band friends from Finland Sights of Tears.

Sketch Art

This is just a small sampling of some of my sketch art and although I don’t really consider myself much of a sketch artist, these will at least give you a little indication into the thought and design process behind my work.

The first two sketches were the basic concept designs for my characters in my short film “Epsilon Rising“, while the rest are just some random sketches showing my experimentation with shading.

As with the other images, the storyboard below contains some pencil shading, however the difference here being, that I used mostly a lot of smudging techniques using a soft cloth or my thumb. This enabled me to gain a much smoother and a nicer blend of color gradients over the larger space of the paper. Then I just added more pencil to enhance lines and features as needed.

Concept Art in 3D

This is just a small sampling of my 3D artwork, the first three images are original pieces containing some early concept art I created for the novel I’m writing. The second row being a selection of fan boy art containing my own version of Supergirl, while the third row contains some mock comic book covers. The first is one I did of Hayley using some of her songs as inspiration for the cover design, the second cover is inspired by the idea of what would happen if Doctor Who had regenerated as a Woman. Last of course is Ultra Vixen being another one my original character ideas.
